CIM Metals Inc. is growing quickly. After upgrading to a 15,000 square feet plant in 2008, the company is already searching for new expanded quarters. We’ve got four top-flight cutting machines to serve you – 1 microplasma, 1 laser, and 2 abrasive water jet cutting systems. A second high-performance laser cutting machine is slated for installation in the near future.
Reflecting the CIM Metals Inc. sincere regard for environmental issues, a retrofit of high-efficiency factory lighting is almost complete. Electrical energy costs will be reduced by 50% as a result. Then there’s the use of waste cutting machine heat to supplement space heating throughout the facility for a further ‘green’ footprint. Naturally, every scrap of material left over from the cutting process is sorted by grade and recycled.
